I need to replace the weatherstrip on the hatch area since i had to do a partial part. I bought a new weatherstrip from one of the normal sources and it is completely different than the one that was originally installed on the car. It is flat except for the part that goes across the roof area. It appears that I need to fold the weatherstrip in half in order for it to seat down into the recessed area. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to install? I could send pictures later in the week if that helps to explain my comments.
