I am not getting any heat coming into the car, think it might be the heat control valve needs replacing, however, when you disconnect the vaccum hose there is very little vaccum. Anyone had this problem? It appears that the hose is connected properly. Just wanted to check before I go and purchase a control valve. The hoses to the valve and from the valve will get warm but nothing comes through the heater. Any information would be appreciated.

Is the other hose coming out of the heater core hot?If not the core may be clogged. If both sides of the valve are heating up I would imagine it is working.
