Ok, so I'm not even looking for another car, at all, really !!....... but....??

This friend calls me & asks if I might be able to help her out. She wants to sell her 1986 Shelby Charger & wonders what it might be worth or if I would be interested in it ??

I didn't even know she had this car, so I go have a look see...HOLY smackers  .....This car is really just like new... ...totally mint... ...just over 15,000 km (that's less than 10,000 miles)... ..one owner (her), never winter driven or even been a daily driver.......everything but the battery is ORIGINAL.....This almost qualifies as a barn find... 8)

I have tried to find out some info & prices but they are all beaters & high miler cars. I have a call into my appraiser but he is away so I need some help. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can find an honest price on this car. I seems like it would be a future collector type car but right now...

Oh...and NO I won't tell anyone where it is...yet.... 8)

This is the small Omni/Horizon version of the Charger. Like this one: http://www.hemmings.com/users/158766/ride/2032.html

Had a closer look see today & took some pix.

CRAP

Mice got into it & made a huge nest under the seat & in the back with that blue/grey sound deadener that is glued to the back of the panels. The owner is just sick about it. I don't think the wiring is damaged because the battery was disconnected. I had heard that the faint electrical charge is what attracts them so we have our fingers crossed that it won't smoke when the cables are reconnected. There are mouse turds every where.

She had put a few bounce sheets in it but they don't last...irish spring soap bars would have been better.

It was even the Turbo version 2.2.....bugger....

Guess I'll pass on it. The money wanted is a fair, but I was looking for a better deal.
