I know it came with a owners hand book but what else was included ?? Maybe a cassette tape, etc ??
I have the jack but no handle or spare tire !!
I found the little hook tool to pull the center caps off.
What else was there ?

Too bad your little donut spare wasn't there.Beleive it or not those stupid things are bringing a lot of $$ on ebay.Is there a way of decodeing the tire to tell it's a vette spare. You and me are lucky that we still have the hubcap hook. The jack handle should be in there.I'll have to look but I know I have mine and I'm pretty sure it's under there where the other stuff is.

Well if you are looking for what came with a brand new CE. Here are some lists.

CE owners manual that is all brown and has our logo on the bottom. Not the blue/white manuel for the other '82's.

Radio manual that covers all radios in brown for all '82's.

Stickers that are on the passenger side for how to on the T-Tops operation.

Stickers in the passenger side of the storage compartment for how to in chaging the spare tyre. Yes the hook for the center caps, jack and handle are in there. Spare tyre of course.

If asked the dealer you could of gotten a press kit and a brochure. Maybe even taken a poster too. 8)

2 warrenty envelops of Tyres and Bumper to Bumper.

Maybe more not sure.

Hmmm.........most of that is missing.
Just the hook, jack & bin sticker are left.
At least I've got a dealer brochure in with the stuff coming from S Ridner.
I also have a reprinted operator book too, but not the brown one.

How ever, on the plus side, my Tim Hortons travel coffee mug is a very complimentary shade of brown that goes well with the car. 8)

Yes, Steve or SuperSteve does collect very cool and helpful items. If I'm not mistaken we all have got something from him. :P

That's cool on the coffee mug.

If you don't have a elbow coushin you should get one. It goes between the seats and sets on the brake handle cover. Even though it didn't come with a new vette I think they are great on long trips for the elbow to rest on. :)

Yup, that's already on the Christmas list, along with the plastic cover to hide the black hole (wiper well) & a set of "weather boots" to protect the carpets.
I've got a whole bunch of cool stuff coming from Steve. :D

edit: A dash mat is also on the list too.

I will not worry to much in covering up anything. Mine will be replaced down the road in years. :)

From Iron 82:
CE owners manual that is all brown and has our logo on the bottom. Not the blue/white manuel for the other '82's.
Radio manual that covers all radios in brown for all '82's.
Stickers that are on the passenger side for how to on the T-Tops operation.
2 warrenty envelops of Tyres and Bumper to Bumper.

OK now I’m upset, what’s this brown manual ?
You talk about the manual I have “blue and white” like it’s ooouuu.

I have no radio manual either :x

And where is this T-Top sticker, be more specific.

I do have a set of black bags and a set of straps to hold the tops in the rear area behind the seats. Also there is a sticker on the inside of the passenger side compartment door warning you NOT to put tow hooks or jacks on the fiberglass rear spring. (DUHH) And there is a tape cartridge holder in the glove box another oddity of the past. Were the floor mats with the logo in the top edge standard equip too? Another question related to the other post, did the 82 Collector have a lock on the spare tire?

I knew this forum thing would help with all the little nagging questions that no magazine ever touches on!

Any question you give I will try my best to help. I like to help. So here you go.

For each manual. See here. Owners Manual Part # 14042978Radio Manual Part # 16014201

T-Tops stickers should be on the passenger side opposite of the vanity mirror. Sorry about not clearing this up.

2 T-Top black bags with stamped year inside of bag and straps did come standard.

Floor mats only came with Corvette logo and should be in the middle/upper part of both mats and are standard.

The spare tyre lock in not an option nor came with the '82 vettes. I have one just incase an idiot wants to steal my spare. People these days....

Hope I helped with your questions.

Well, I see no T-Top sticker anywhere so I guess that’s a loss. :( :(

I assume the owners’ manual numbers you give are GM and maybe I could locate one at a dealer?

Ok on the bags! Looks as if mine are stamped 3-81?? You got to be able to read color blind test dots to read what it says but that’s what it looks like. Seems early for a 82 car but I don’t think either of the previous owners would have replaced them.

Also Ok on the floor mats. Somewhat spotted, but I believe they must be original.

Seems the old car isn’t so far from original as I thought :)

Thanks for the info!!

Yes the numbers are GM and are printed on the back of the Manuals. Just keep an eye out for them on ebay. I've seen them there occasionally.

About the yearly stamped bags. I'm not familiar with them and my guess is that GM just threw any bags in a vette. :?

Good to see your happy on how this came out. :P

Your Welcome and Enjoy.

Just in case any of you go to Carlisle, i got my 82CE Manual there, but beware: It aint cheap!
I dropped a jaw and $35-40 (dont remember, and dont want to. ) for the leaflet. It stays with the books in the house, in the zipper bag i got it in.. Yowzaahs..
Hence why i havent even started to look for the t-top bag and the stickers or the ETR manual..
