Anyone willing to get rid of his/hers original CE center bezel?
The previous owner of my car had a vision.. of a new CD player and cut the bezel.
I need the uncuted one.. I'm also interested from the original radio.

Btw, are the aftermarket CE bezels painted in correct color? If they are, I can also buy a brand new one.

Try Mid-America, Corvette Central, or Corvette America. One or more have the bezel for an 82 CE in the correct color. :D

Might also try Just Corvettes in St. Louis. A while back they had an 82CE they were parting out.

Well, the extra slider is next to the Bass/Treble sliders and that 3rd slider is marking the 1980-81 OEM, but not the 82's.. :o

If you have an ebay account: Check the following:
Item 270764811771: 1982 (though from a 1981), my buttons are dark brown though
Item 220794652090: 1982 my buttons (the knobs for the front!) see above..

And lastly:
Item 310322910653: NOT 1982 OEM.. The extra slider is a up/down 'DNR' thingy (Digital Noise Reduction, i think).

When i got mine back from 'repair' at Ecklers ages ago, they replaced, in lieu of repairing the mainboard mine with this non 1982 radio. I was peeved to be honest. Took me a few years, but i finally scored a 1982 OEM AM/FM Cassette Radio as per my buildsheet and it even works..

Ok, enough beating the old horse. I hope you understand what i am talking about. Take a picture of yours and let us see it.. 8)

Thanks for the info, I'll start searching.
I don't have original radio in my car.. the previous owner cut the bezel and put some ugly CD-player to it.. he also cut the kickpanels and rear speaker grilles :(
Oh yes, and he took the power for the amplifier from Fuel pump fuse..

They are selling used 82CE center bezel with 150USD+50shipping, I was thinking about buying a new one because it is quite hard to buy a bezel without knowing is it in good shape or not.
And there will be a lot of work with finding the 1982 OEM radio with a good price.

I have an delco radio with the cb attachment somewhere in the garage. If your car came with this let me know.

I found the delco radio w/cb attachment. not sure of the year. let me know if your still looking for one. I can send a photo if needed. Also one thing I'm looking for is the screw which goes to the 4 black plastic covers that cover the overhead t-top pins. Just need to find the right one so that I can get 4. Everything I've tried does not fit right.
