I've been looking more too.... While I maintain the site, my 82 CE is in storage, last out from under the cover for Carlisle in 2004. I'm again moving for work, this time to Alabama for a year and will not find out to where I'll be moving until late this year. Hope to have the CE back where I can easily get to it, but..... In the interim, I have 2 91's that keep my spare time full... when the job doesn't.

As for the website, you may be curious to find out why out membership continually increases and decreases.... We've again changed the procedure to become a member. New members must be manually allowed access to the forum--this ensures we do not have new users for the sole purpose of putting spam on our site. Regardless, there are usually at least 2 new "spammer" applicants each day. In order to apply to the site, a passcode embedded in a .jpg are displayed and required on the form to prevent automatic registration..... which tells me there are folks out there with absolutely nothing else to do but try, try, and try to get on our forum and get users to go to their websites.

That's about it here..... what is going on with the rest of us? Any projects? The above photos are of my replacement of gaskets and restoring the valve covers to their original color.... also putting a fresh set of injectors. The ethanol eats the late 80's - 91 multec-rochester injectors. Had 5 of 8 go bad is a very short period of time. As for the ZR-1, this was my project for a few months last year leading up to Carlisle.... great to have met Mike and Stephan....... Mark

My hard drive is just like my brain, it's hard to remember where I put stuff...
Yeah I saw that post the other day, but I finally found the note I have been looking for, for the last 3 months...

I'm interested in that tube that goes around the front of the engine and connects the manifolds.
Thanks dawg for letting me have first shot--

If Mac doesn't want it then I will offer it up here on the registry first...

I usually come here once a day and add ebay Vette's i get sent (I have a Search setup on ebay), just to keep Mark entertained while he is working on those new fandagled cars.. :P

Other then that: Nothing much, just trying to sell the house finally and move. Oh yeah, and keeping a lid on the 2.5 year old.. So the wife doesnt go nuts on me..

No projects, Bessie is still sitting and waiting for me to take her out when the cold is done (Inspection in April, so usually we take her out in March for an early run and clear out the cobbwebs, then off to the shop for inspection time; she passes every time i had her here).

We'll see what happens when the moster awakes. It's fun to have an old car..

Looking forward to Spring !!

Good question....yes, the website has been professionally hosted since 2004, and will continue to run as long as I keep paying the bill! (no worries, I believe I'm paid up for a few years!) Actually, I really do enjoy doing this... this all started from the ZR-1 Registry which unlike the 82 CE is relatively easy to track with sequential VINs. I'm under the impression that I may have some additional free time with this next move, but it will only be for 10 months--no idea on the move after that, but most certainly always an adventure!

Mark

Had to ask, last time you moved you had the site hosted on your own server, and it was down for a week or so. (if I remember correctly).

Let me know if you ever need a donation to keep this place alive!!!

Yeah thats my vert next to the 71 vert... Good eyes!!!
