have nice day

Wow Piotr, 6 pages of entries. 8)

Maybe you and Mark can share databases and maybe you can add your search to his. Looks very nice (and like a lot of work), but there are some flaws in the data. Mine for instance, says bought in 1982, incorrect, i bought mine in 1993, and my mileage is now 104000 (i stated 103000 when i added here here). Aside from the little errors, i am hoping you and Mark can get together and complete each others data.

Ok, i've been scouring ebay and adding entries (Sorry Mark.. ) for a little now.. I came across one though that i think looks "funny".. The car looks good, with 26915 miles on it (supposedly), but there is something that doesnt look right.. Not saying it isnt a CE, but it struck me as odd that the power mirror control(s) arent on the middle console, but on the doors. I have never seen that.. Anyone have any insight on that one?? Here the ebay link:

Well, looking at this at the link provided. On the mirror controls. That person added those electric controls himself, if came by factory the original customer ordered that vette by replacing the center electric twin sport mirrors and got the regular electric door mirror controls. All the electric sport mirror controls are on the center consoles which are optional.

Two other things wrong I see is that the original radio is not there and the power antenna is bent on the top part.

I say not good for a $22 to $19usd.

As our '82 brochur has put it under the Collector Edition Standard Equipment reads 'In addition to or replacing Corvette standard equipment' which reading under the Optional Equipment it has 'Electric twin remote-control sport mirrors. Twin sport mirrors are electrically controlled by two switches on the center console.'

Under Standard Body Exterior it has Dual body color sport mirrors with remote controls.

Hope this helps.

In Belgium (Europe) there are 4 Collector edition's still running, but that's all. Information is 100 % correct!
Mine is already registered, I will try to find out the vin codes off the three other CE's in Belgium.

Good deal Francis !!

I've been adding any CE popping up on ebay (Pretty sure Mark is getting tired of me adding stuff   ).. If you guys see any, keep up the good job.. Maybe Mark can pop in here and run some stats for us (ie. how many did we add since we started the thread? Did Piotrs database make it in here?)..

Keep em coming.. 8)

Well, I found my papers I had of over 30 CE's on ebay in 2003 (when I was searching for one). I did write down each vin and options. I'll add them in our registry when I get time. Some might be there already. BesidesI'll keep looking too. :P

I thought the door mounted controls was kind of neat. But like mine on the center console. When I bought mine I had to replace the antenna, the cord has snapped and you could hear the motor running and running trying to get the antenna extended.

He should turn the arm rest around in that photo as I was confused when I saw it. Made me go and look at mine to see if I had put it in the wrong way.

Not been on here for a while , thought I would update on this one , crashed and burned on the whole BMV thing , I did get hold of a guy at the Indiana BMV to see if they could give me a list of all of the CE's registered in this state ( I figured if I get anywhere here then we could work through all of the states) The guy said that he would put it to the IT people to see if they can get a list but he never came back to me. I gues it is just too much trouble to do the search.
So it seems we just have to rely on recording all those we come across on ebay etc .
