Can anyone tell me how you can check the HOOD LORVUE DOOR to know that it is operating correctly??

Well...as for actual WOT operation when it's on the car...no idea...

If it is removed from the car, just connect it to a 12v DC source & see if it pulls open.
BUT...
Unless you are doing a points car, leave it on the bench. The engine will run better with a constant flow of cool air from the front instead of hot engine bay air. I did it on both my 82's.

Get a set of K&N's too, it'll breath a whole bunch better with those to mods.
