I have a leaky radiator and was thinking about having the original recored. However, I just found out that I can still get an AC Delco radiator part # 21003. Anyone replace their radiator with the AC Delco? How did it fit?

I want an exact replacement since I don't want to modify the car in any way.

Thanks,

Mike

I had my shop get a new radiator from Mid America. No mods on mine when we installed it. I have pictures if you like to see.

Mine was replaced with the GM replacement one a couple of years ago, It was in the GM shop getting the AC serviced, I couldn't tell you if it was an exact replacement or not, but it looks like it fits just like the original...

Stefan,

Those guys are deffinantly smoking some good stuff....
I got mine brass/copper for $235. Fits really good.
If someone is selling an orginal Heavy Duty radiator they shouldn't go over that price either.

My dealer said they could get me a AC Delco for just under $200. The part # I have is not a GM part number since they have discontinued the part. Rather, this is AC Delco's part #.
