Just got done resealing the steering valve, cylinder, and replacing the hoses. The system is now flushed clean. I have always used automatic trans. fluid in the steering pump reservoir, not only in my car, but in almost every car I have ever serviced, but I noticed the service manual calls for "Power Steering Fluid". Just want to get it perfect and was wondering the difference, if any.

I used Power Steering Fluid when I replaced my cylinder and hose's last year, but like you I have used tranny fluid many times in the past...

I'm not sure what the differences are, you need to find out what is in Power Steering Fluid to compare it to tranny fluid...
