Anyone have the problem with the battery going dead in the cold. Checked battery, it is good. Something is draining it, anyone have this before. Thought I would check here before checking everything on the car.

My battery does not go dead anymore. I put one of the green knob battery disconnects on the negative post, and voila, no more dead battery. Three years now!

I got a battery maintain kit.. So whenever i get back i hook up the car to the battery thingy and hadnt had a problem (after 3x having to exchange it). I was getting frustrated trying to pinpoint where it's the clock or the aftermarket alarm or something else.. No problem since..

Appears once go dead and you recharge them, they are never the same. Also after 3X of exchanging my battery, I finally purchased a disconnect. Next purchase is an Optima Red top.
