I have two loose wires hanging down near the front opening below the headlights (one on either side of the car). These appear to be ground wires since they are both black. Both have a large eyelet on them and the type to cut through paint. Any idea as to where these might have been attached? I was thinking they would go under the bolt attaching the bottom of the radiator.

I have a single black wire with a connector on it in the same location that is not connected to anything. All three wires appear to be heading up the driver side of the car in the wiring harness.

I also have a black/red stripe wire that is not connected to anything on the driver side in the same location. The only thing I see on the wiring diagram is a wire going to the EST conn.

OK - I think the two loose wires with eyelets are supposed to be connected to the horn mounts as the main ground wires. My next question would be where are the horns located as I have not been able to find them. I think they should be up under the front end below the lights but not sure. I do not see any other loose wires that would be connected to the horn though.

Still trying to figure out the other two wires.

Suggestion: get a Factory Service Manual and an Assembly Manual. Also, this site is good for getting technical help for '82 Vettes.
