This is a concern that I believe we all are going to have shortly. And that is good premium gasoline for our CE's. Does anyone know how much ethanol our engines will tolerate before they fail? Is there anyway that could be converted to E-85? If so what will be involved and how many dollars will we be talking about?

Like to hear from you.

This is a good question. Sorry I can't help with this. I hope it's not coming to this changing anything on the engines...

I wouldnt.. The alcohol aspect in E85 would corrode many aspects of our engines and fuel systems. And to convert that aspect is very pricey, ie. not worth doing. Also, you'd have 30-40% fuel economy and range. So why bother..

I'm running my car on pump gas at $6 a gallon.. As a Daily Driver.. I just have to work hard to make the money..

But gas prices wont stop me..

Cars and trucks after 1994 have gaskets that will tolerate the 10% ethenol
What you will have to be concerned about are all the gaskets for the gas if you use the 10% ethenol.
