Anyone know where I could find a set of four wheel caps other than Ecklers? 599.00 there and currently out of stock. Are there any differences form Repos or OEMs? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here are some from Rik's.

Have you tried Zip, Corvette Central, Corvette America, Ebay and other companies?

I don't have any information from the repo's to OEM.

Hope this helps you.

P.S. Welcome to the '82 CE Registry. :D

I've purchased a set on Ebay. They cost me an extra 25 dollars compared to Rik's :? The center cap insert looks like it's gold from Rik's website. I though it was a silver colored logo center that was original on the caps...Correct?

The caps between the fins are dark brown color to match the rims. Can't tell on mine in the dark but looks silver on the logo center.

Glad you enjoy this place. Now go and ride the CE. :P

GM Actually had two different Paint codes, one for the Dark Brown used on the Rim "Coves", and a second for the Center Caps.

The "Turbine" look they were going for, is similar to the "Fade" of the decals, or the "Spectrum" of the seats and door panels.

I never cared for that "stock" look. I always felt they should have match.
ie one color or the other. So...

What I did was Purchase a set of caps from Rik's, I think they were Slightly discounted when you bought a set of 4, then I had the rims refinished with the Paint GM used on the center caps. GM Code 7692 aka Dupont code B8311J "Medium Sand Gray"

I like the finished product.

PS/FYI : Sorry but I can't seen to locate the Dark Brown Paint Code. Because I chose not to use it.[/img]

Rims look great! Thanks for the paint code info. I still think this is the best looking Corvette C6 included! But, I would have loved to have seen more horsepower

I have a set of used OEM caps (missing one center emblem). Anyone interested?
