Dawg, doesnt it have a pin stripe around the lic-plate area ? At least thats what i remember.. Not that i have that..

Hello, My tail light recesses are painted a dark brown color. Is the rear license plate area also painted the same color? Just wondering.... Thanks, Tom |

No, just the taillights have the dark brown accent, the licenses plate area is paint the normal body color... |

Yes there is a pinstripe around the outer edge of the inset, but the inside portion is the silver-beige body color. The pinstripe is part of the kit if you ordered one, or if you cheat and just get the pin from a supplier and apply, and cut it yourself. When my CE was repainted, I worked with the body shop, and used their professional pin-striper, we compared colors and he had found the exact match in color and size, then going from pictures he did a fantastic job at matching the original look, at about 1/2 the price. |
