Post subject:  cross over tube

I think I have asked this before but thought I would try again. Does anyone know where to get the crossover tube (comes from the drivers side manifold and goes over the front of the engine)? It is a discontinued item and mine has a crack in it.
Someone had a couple a while back but had got rid of them. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom

Two places have them Bill Hodel his number is 330-832-0871 and the last time I checked he wanted $175.00. Then there is Greenhoe 330-723-0899 and they want $175.00 also.

How bad is it cracked, can it be welded?

Thanks for the names. I thought about welding it, the crack is about 1" long and kind of smashed in a little bit. I may give it a try first. Is Greehoee a company?
Thanks,

Tom

Dont know about Mr Bill Hodel, But I do know Greenhoes want a LOT of green for just about anything they have. The are way overpriced. If you do a lot of legwork(actually Fingerwork) you can find just about anything you need. Try using J.B. weld ,I have had good results with that on items similer to that.

They may be proud but the only two I could find, and I have been looking for quite a while were from Greenhoe and Hodel, both are asking the same price. Repairing is always an alternative, brassing sp. is what I suggested first. Pressure is very minimal in that tube. However, if you are trying to Top Flight the car, the alternatives are few.

I was luck enough to be able to reuse my old one and have it re-plated.
