I had my antenna cord break and bought the repair kit from Ecklers. I put it in and my antenna works but it only retracts to where about 1" is sticking up. I shortened the metal part on the end of the cord but that didn't make any difference. Has anyone had a similiar problem?

aquila- the power antenna has a relay located in the rear center console next to the pulse wiper controller. also, the unit is powered thru the courtesy-clock fuse. check these.
