Anyone ever done this? Do any of the currently available assembly manuals show diagrams of the openable hatch assembly, and how it differs from a stock fixed window car? My body man would like to see a diagram before starting. Thanks

The basic design in the structure is that same, but your going to need allot of parts to make it work.
The glass and all the hardware is needed, it's a different size than the original one you have.
Other list of parts: Hinges, release mechanism, latches, and interior panels.
The 82 AIM (assembly manual) has the basic layout, but without the parts your going to spend allot fabricating everything.
