Interested to know if any of you have the 82 CE Owners Manual, Brown with a gold CE emplem. Check page 7-2 and let me know if the spark plug info is on the page at the bottom. Just curious. On the regular 82 manual, blue, it is but not on my brown one.

Checking page 7-9 it does say page 7-2 for the spark plug info. Now I don't see on that page(7-2) any spark plug information at all.

Looks like GM screwed up on printing that information in the owner's manual.

Good catch basecar. :)

changed the plugs, that's how i found this error. what a pain to change, four have to be changed from underneath and the 2nd plug on the drivers side is a real bear to get to change. think they could have made it a liitle easier for the common guy.

I dinot think the spark plugs were that bad to change. Now the spark plug wires are a different story. you have to drop starter to put new wires on passenger side front 2 cylinders.

I agree the pride of owning a car like this is when you can say I DID IT.
I bought my car 2 yrs ago and it was in pieces. No interior, no glass other then windsheild was in itand front and rear bumpers were just hanging. I paid $3,500.00 for the car along with recieving approximately $2,000.00 worth of new after market fiber galss parts, which funded my putting back together. now 2 yrs later the car is 85% complete and on the road. I cant say I did it myself.
