I am new to muscle car ownership but my older brother was and still is very much a racer. He has a 1994 Camaro that runs 585hp yes he smokes them. I asked him and he suggested: Headers to 3" pipes all the way back no catylic coverter and then flow masters out to do the trick. Hope that helps. If I wasn't trying to keep mine so stock, I would have done it, although I hear putting headers in that small compartment is a real bear. Good luck and let's us know how they sound! Jeff |

Go to about the middle of page 2 in the link below and start reading, I did Stan's Tri-Y's on mine and the fit was perfect. As far as sound, flowmasters are going to be the loudest, I had a set of Borla's on mine and while it wasn't loud, it did have a killer base rumble at idle, and a nice throaty sound when stomped on. Also unlike the flowmasters, there was absolutly no interior drone at any RPM. http://www.corvetteaddiction.com/82ce/forum/viewtopic.php?t=111&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 |
