Hello everyone,

Well good news I got my motor in the car and I am hooking everything back up. Been quite a learning experience for me and I have been getting my hands real dirty. Its great to work on your own stuff thats for sure.

I have a problem maybe you can help me. I have a 1982 shop manuel I bought from Helmes. On page 6E-65 it shows a "Air injection pipe"

does anyone know where I can buy one? MIne is broken and was ate up real bad so I need to replace it. Does anyone know where I can get one ????

Thanks for the Help as always!

That one part is almost impossible to find. I say almost because I happen to have one is good shape....

BUT, it's already promised to another member, I just haven't contacted him yet.

What has been used in the past is some high temp rubber hose, I don't know exactly what type to tell you to get, so you might have to experiment some.

Temporarily you can use a rubber hose but that isn't a good long term decision. As noted above they are very difficult to find and expensive when you do. You might want to use the old one to have a copper one formed from.

Thas a good idea. I got the old one so I will see if ZI can find someone to make one for me. Well I got the car up and she is running fine now . The motoer is great and I am having my old one rebuilt. So I will have the originial motor sittng ready to re-install...........

Now bring on those hinges for the rear hatch and I am ready
