Hi to all you great people that share information about these cars that we care so much about. I'm new to the forum so I'll Beat on this hatch seal some.I would like any input about the GM made hatch seal. is it made to fit in the channel around the window?The reason I ask is that last year I blew 400+ bucks on seals that came nowhere near fitting. Ibought two,one was made in indiaI dont know where the other was made . I talked to a guy from Wilcox today and he said his were GM made.Iwould like to get a new seal,but I dont want to waste another 200 bucks and come up with the same thing I had. Thanks for any input you can give me on this subject. hodgev. |

Fortunately, our CE has a GM seal that is in good shape. It fits very well. While I have not seen a repro seal, I have read quite a bit that indicates the repros are not good. An NOS seal runs around $200 and according to one source on ebay the part # is 14038230 Is shows as available on www.gmpartsdirect.com |
