I did a ggogle search & found a company that sells the complete decal set.

http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/gm/1982cvt.htm

Has anyone delt with them. If so, are the kits the correct fit & colour ??

The only one I can remember putting some on was a guy in Germany, he said the quality was decent, and he thought the color was close. I thought there was someone else here looking into them.

Yes but you can find them all the time on eBay, but are you willing to take the chance the adhesive is worth a darn almost 25 years later?

I found a Canadian source for the decals:
http://ultimateperformancecar.com/
Close to 2 grand CDN $$

EDIT: this is the explanation I recieved:

Hi David, here is the updated quote with shipping. I hadn’t priced one of these in quite some time and I was shocked by the price (in comparison with other stripe kits).

I was talking yesterday with the manufacturer of this stripe kit (and others that I purchase) and he was discussing how this particular kit is going to be hard to produce soon since it uses inks and equipment that aren’t “environmentally friendly”. He’s afraid that similar to some of the old style paints the inks required will be soon discontinued. Part of the issue with the cost is that these old style inks are becoming rare and of course extremely expensive.

All of the pricing is in Canadian Dollars. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Joseph Baptista

I came across a place in New Jersey that offered the whole decal set for around $1200.00. I can't remember the name but when I find it I will :) post it.

I have a set of GM factory decals for the hood and doors if anyone is interested. The door decals are missing the front fender section. I'm not sure what they are worth but contact me if interested.
