Hello everyone. I am the proud owner of a 1982 Corvette collector edition with 38k originial miles on it.

I heard about ths website from some people on the other corvette website i belong to. I own a 1988 corvette as well so I have been learning a lot from these sites.

In this site the reason I was pointed in your direction is that i am in desperate need of Rear hatch hinges and Struts. I am willing to pay the price to make the car right. Right now my problem is that my rear hatch does not seat all the way around the seal I can see daylight big time. I want to fix this. I have been reading that some one here made new hinges and maybe even struts. I am willing to pay right now today by paypal if I can get the person to build me a set. I have pics to show but I cant seem to figure out how to load them here in the message.

I thank you for the opportunity to be part of this website, and I do have a few more questions on other things about the CE I own and I know after reading much hear that this is the site were all the talent is.

welcome to the 82 CE Registry.
I replied to your email, but i dont have anything for you, sorry. My old struts are, well, old and wont lift the glass anymore. I have gotten newer ones from a vendor which work great, but it seems the ones on their website now arent correct.

The hinges on mine are bent back and are the originals, sorry cant give you those either..
